We call upon our elected officials to take immediate action to defund Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider.

Over the past decade, Planned Parenthood has reported a 20% increase in abortions performed in its facilities, while its legitimate healthcare services have drastically declined. Despite this, taxpayer funding to the organization has skyrocketed to nearly $800 million annually, reaching the highest levels in history.

Planned Parenthood claims to prioritize healthcare, but its own reports tell a different story:

• Abortions have increased to a record 402,230 children killed annually, while other services like prenatal care, cancer screenings, and contraceptive services have plummeted.

• The organization’s client numbers have dropped by 30%, and the number of facilities has decreased by 25% over the past decade.

• Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood has accumulated billions in assets and profited over $178 million in just one year.

Planned Parenthood does not serve the needs of the majority of American women and families. A recent analysis revealed that its female clients represent only 2% of the U.S. female population of reproductive age. Furthermore, the organization has been accused of multiple abuses, including Medicaid fraud, misleading marketing, failure to report child sexual abuse, and discrimination.

If all of this weren’t enough, Planned Parenthood has also positioned itself as one of the foremost providers of so-called “gender affirming care,” offering cross-sex hormones to minors, as young as 16 years old, with little to no evaluation.

The facts are clear: Planned Parenthood’s services are declining, their profits are rising, and their abuses are mounting. It is unjust and unethical for American taxpayers to continue funding this organization at over $1.9 million every single day.

It’s time to hold Planned Parenthood accountable.
