3 things Planned Parenthood won’t tell women
Recently on TV, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards said, “Women trust Planned Parenthood.” But as the saying goes, if you have to tell me I trust you, I probably don’t.
Whether women trust Planned Parenthood or not, the facts prove they absolutely shouldn’t. Planned Parenthood has been caught misinforming, deceiving, and blatantly lying to women. And the lies are hardly inconsequential. They involve the most important decisions of a woman’s life, her future, her children, her health, and her relationships.
Here are three things Planned Parenthood refuses to tell women. If every woman in America heard these, women would not trust Planned Parenthood – not for a single second longer.
1) You are pregnant with a baby – not “pregnancy tissue” or a “clump of cells.”
If you know a woman who has had an abortion, you probably know a woman who was told that her baby wasn’t an actual human yet. One of my mom’s best friends was told her baby was just a blob. One of the 539 women who shared their abortion stories on CNN (the huge majority deeply regretted their abortions) titled her story: “What I had destroyed was not just tissue.”
In the most recent video released by The Center for Medical Progress, Dr. Savita Ginde – the Vice President and Medical Director of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains (a particularly corrupt branch of Planned Parenthood) – directly states: “It’s a baby!”
Of course, she only says this fact behind the woman’s back. Once the abortion is complete, and the baby is lying in bloody, dismembered pieces in a medical pie plate, Dr. Ginde speaks the truth. Do we think the woman who just had this baby ripped from her might have wanted to know, “It’s a baby!” Or possibly that he was “another boy!”
Women deserve accurate pictures and real information from a true, scientific, fact-based nonprofit like the Endowment for Human Development provides.
These are the “clumps of cells” Planned Parenthood talks about – each one in her first trimester, when the majority of abortions are performed:
2) Your baby is fully human and is developing, with a beating heart at only 22 days after fertilization – long before most women have an abortion.
As Cassy Fiano reported, women are directly lied to:
What? Go back up to the video of the beating heart at only 4 1/2 weeks after fertilization. Do you see the arms and legs of those 7 1/2 week-old babies?
Planned Parenthood’s college outreach group told these lies to college students:
Ignore scientific evidence; it doesn’t matter; don’t think about it.
“There’s people on our side and research that says that the heart doesn’t beat ’til 24 weeks.”
“Science cannot be applied to my body.”
An unborn baby is just like a virus in your body.
Talk about shoddy science.
Could it be any more obvious that Planned Parenthood blatantly lies to women? No wonder they fight ultrasound bills with all their might. (Of course, when they need to perform an ultrasound to make sure they harvest the right baby parts for buyers, it’s no longer “medical rape.”)
As John Jalsevac writes:
Live Action discovered abortion clinics in multiple states directly lying to women about their preborn babies. Scientific facts didn’t matter to the abortion counselors or to the abortion doctors. What mattered what saying whatever would convince the woman to have an abortion.
Live Action reported:
How does deception, misinformation, and direct lies empower women? Women can handle the truth. And we deserve to be given the facts. Real scientific facts about fetal development (along with amazing videos and real-time in utero pictures) can be found here.
3) Women do not need Planned Parenthood.
Cecile Richards and other Planned Parenthood talking heads insist that women must have Planned Parenthood to have healthcare. Without Planned Parenthood, they ask, where would low-income women go? What about minority women? Who would care for them?
In fact, there are plenty of options other than Planned Parenthood – including Federally Qualified Health Centers and community health centers. It’s highly manipulative for Planned Parenthood to pretend to be the savior of all women. Talk about dumbing it down and acting like women aren’t smart enough to find out their real options.
For any woman who’s been lied to and told that she has nothing without Planned Parenthood, check out this informative article that tells women all the options they really do have.
No, Planned Parenthood, we women don’t need you. We’re tired of being lied to, scammed, and manipulated by an organization who profits off of the bodies of our children.
Now that you know the truth, share this with the women in your life. Give them the facts. Planned Parenthood does not “Care. No Matter What.”
And they simply can’t be trusted.
